About me
Author, Mom, Wife.
I have an MA/MC, and a BS/B
I like to represent children with Epilepsy.
On a personal note:
My childhood was marked by a seizure disorder, imposing greater restrictions on me than most other kids. The excessive medication I took during that time hindered my physical growth. As an adult, I continue to grapple with seizures, but thankfully, my medication provides significant relief. In July 2021, I experienced three seizures in a single day. As I lost consciousness, I witnessed my children fading away—a terrifying moment when I wasn’t certain if I would return. It remains etched as the most frightening day of my life.
I aim to present epilepsy through the eyes of a child, educating fellow youngsters about it and reassuring those who endure it that they are not isolated. My creation, GINGER, serves as a relatable figure for kids with the same disability, allowing them to explore and understand epilepsy better.
